ACTIVITIES - FUN STUFF
St. Enodoc Golf Club at Rock has two courses - both eighteen hole - and Roserrow, at Polzeath, has a brand new eighteen hole course and also an indoor swimming pool, gym, etc.
The Camel Trail stretches all the way from Padstow to Poley's Bridge on Bodmin Moor. It follows the old rail link and is great fun to explore. You can join the trail at Padstow, Wadebridge, or Dunmere (on the way to Bodmin). Bicycles may be hired from Padstow and Wadebridge if you do not have your own they even do one way but how that works is another question
If you like walking and hiking there are many trails and footpaths including the coastal footpath where, if you have the energy, you can walk all the way round Cornwall.
The best surfing beach in the area is at Polzeath but it does tend to get very crowded in the main part of the summer. There are many other surfing beaches along the north coast, especially in the Newquay area, and it is fun to visit different places to find the one which you most prefer. None of them are very far from Trefresa.
Lets face it if you wanted this you would have jumped on a plane, that said the brewery sells beer in kegs - the butcher does a mean bbq selection (lamb burgers to die for) .. break out the bbq talk to the neighbours and settle down for the evening. Make sure you bring something to sit on a really comfortable chair makes the evenings perfect.
